Elthrin +

Elthrin + is a capsule suspension (CS) insecticide containing Lambda Cyhalothrin 4.9%, a synthetic pyrethroid that acts on the insect's nervous system through contact and stomach action, causing rapid paralysis and death of the pest. In the CS formulation, the active ingredient is micro-encapsulated, releasing gradually after application to provide longer residual activity, improved rainfastness and safer handling compared with conventional formulations. It is suited for broad-spectrum control of chewing and sucking insect pests in field crops. It comes in a white ribbed bottle with a white screw cap, packed in a printed outer carton with detailed usage information in Hindi and a toxicity classification triangle on the label.
