Press by Sourabh Agro Industries is a water dispersible granule (WG) insecticide containing Pymetrozine 50% w/w, with other ingredients q.s. to 100% w/w. Pymetrozine is a pyridine azomethine insecticide that acts on the feeding mechanism of sucking insects, causing them to stop feeding almost immediately after contact or ingestion, after which they starve and die. As a selective insecticide, it is used to control sucking insects in various crops, and the planthopper imagery on the pack reflects its common use against hopper pests in paddy. The WG granules disperse easily in water for convenient, dust-free mixing. It comes in a wide-mouth white jar with an orange screw cap, packed in a printed outer carton with a "Premium Quality" badge and a security hologram label.
