Raftaar

Technical Composition: 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% S.L.

Raftaar is a selective herbicide powered by 2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL, built to control broadleaf weeds without harming cereal crops. It clears weed competition so crops like wheat can grow stronger and yield better.

Product Overview

Raftaar, manufactured by Sourabh Agro Industries, is a soluble liquid (SL) herbicide containing 2,4-D Amine Salt 58%, a synthetic auxin herbicide from the phenoxy group. It is absorbed through the leaves and roots and moves systemically through the weed, mimicking natural plant hormones to trigger uncontrolled, abnormal growth that twists, weakens and ultimately kills the weed. Being selective, it targets broadleaf weeds and sedges while remaining safe on grass-family crops, and is widely used in wheat, as reflected in the wheat-field imagery on the pack, as well as in maize, paddy and sugarcane. The amine salt SL formulation dissolves fully in water and is less volatile than ester forms, reducing the risk of vapour drift. It comes in a white bottle with a sculpted shoulder and white screw cap, packed in a printed outer carton, and is produced by an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. For safe use, keep it out of reach of children, avoid spray drift onto nearby broadleaf crops, read the label and leaflet carefully before use, and store it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, food and feed.
